Saatchi Gallery - November 18th 2015

Upon walking into the Saatchi Gallery, I was overwhelmed by the outstanding and perfect displays.
They suggested that we downloaded an app which was amazing - you look at your phone and it shows you the real house virtually.
It felt like I was walking into the real Coco Chanel house. It was incredibly organised.
There was a short movie that showed Coco Chanel talking about her designs and how she progressed.
The whole experience was really worthwhile, I felt as though I got a better understanding of Chanel and her designs and how influential they have been in the world today.

Here are some photos of the gallery.

Louis Vuitton Exhibition

LOUIS VUITTON EXHIBITION

On Sunday 18th October, 2015, I attended the Louis Vuitton Exhibition.
What really stood out to me about the exhibition was the architecture which was very well presented.
There was different shapes, themes and colours for each room, all set out very clearly and precisely.
In one of the rooms, there were people being filmed creating a bag, they said the bags being made ranged from £600 to £35000.
They also had a 'Wardrobe' room, this showed loads of outfits by Louis Vuitton of which you could touch and examine. Another room was completely white, with white mannequins holding real bags, including an old trunk that women used to use years ago.
There was also a room showing videos of the construction.
Another another room was of videos/voices of different models talking about Louis Vuitton.
The design of the exhibition was the most impressive part, as well as being able to feel very involved in the items shown and the history of LV. I really enjoyed it.

Miu Miu Advert Campaign Presentation

MIU MIU ADVERT CAMPAIGN

My partner and I researched the Miu Miu campaign as we thought that it was a very interesting, over-sexualised and inappropriate way to advertise the brand, therefore we had a lot of thoughts and opinions to give due to the controversy that the advert caused.

Here is our presentation on the advert.
